In today’s episode, I am introducing you to my good friend Meghan Tschanz. Megan is incredibly brave, a former missionary turned writer/podcaster and is a passionate advocate for empowering women around the world and reclaiming feminism for the Christian faith. Megan has a background in working with women who are victims of sex-trafficking and have experienced the most extreme oppression of women. Also having a background in working with victims of sex-trafficking, Megan and I both recognize that this is a worldwide issue. Women are oppressed, and we believe we need to stand up as a voice for women. I want to encourage you to understand that Jesus is the founder of the original women’s liberation movement. God loves women, empowers women, and values women as equals. I want you to understand that we do have equity in the church and in the world and that is what we are fighting for. As Christian women, we need to wake up and get educated on the facts and help to reclaim feminism in the Christian faith.
