New Frontiers In 2014

The past two months have been so exciting for me and I'm honored to be able to share it with you! So many new things are coming that I know will be able to help you live the truly fit life you desire. A life that's strong, joyful and confident moving into 2014.

For starters, I finally went and got my Crossfit Level 1 cert. I've been wanting to do it for a while now and finally pulled the trigger. I first started with functional fitness and Olympic weightlifting way back in college and have been training my clients this way ever since, so I thought it fitting to make it official.

The cert weekend was physically demanding and gave me immense knowledge on how to better hone my skill. It was continuing education at its finest and gave me much to go home and work on. If I can give you any advice today, it's to never stop investing in yourself and your skill set. You must progress as your industry progresses so you can offer the best service to your clients. Whether you're a doctor, accountant, hair dresser, or stay at home mom you can always invest in you. Success will never be convenient or cheap but it IS worth it.

In addition to the cert, starting this week I now have the opportunity to train my clients and online training group at Crossfit318. A Truly Fit Life has a new home!! It's a really cool old warehouse building that my friend and training buddy Christy Harper runs. You can check it out here

This facility will open me up to be able to train more clients, as well as challenge my clients as they progress into Olympic lifting and competitions. More on that later :) I'm so thankful to finally have a spot we can call home and one in which I feel safe to do so in.

I will still offer in- home personal training but I now have a central location that more people can get involved in if they choose to and I will have more room to move and instruct in. My online group will appreciate this one! This has all been in an effort to better serve you and bring you the best training technique possible. Honestly, I can't wait to see you there, whether local or online.

My heart is always to help you transform and in order to do that, I have to transform with you. People are usually afraid to do something new but I believe that stagnancy is the one thing you should really be afraid of. Successful people are those that take risks in faith. I do this knowing that if I'm in God's will, he has always got my back. If this new space helps me impact even one more new person's life then I know it it was worth it.

I've also been working hard on the release of my Truly Fit Transformation journal which will be available for purchase coming Jan 1st. Just in time after all the holiday food and festivities :) This is the same journal that I put in the hands of all my one on one clients in order to give them lasting results and an extra measure of accountability. Come January, women all over the country will have access to it which means more lives will be transformed and more women will be walking in confidence.

New frontiers indeed.

I know you may be thinking about new frontiers as 2013 winds down and may be wondering what things will be like. If you will succeed or fail. Love it or hate it.  All I can tell you is that our God is great and he works ALL things for good for those that love him and earnestly seek him. Don't be afraid to take risks and don't be afraid to invest in becoming the best version of yourself in 2014. I look forward to hearing from you as we do new things together ;)

Training and Transforming,
