How to Put Yourself Out There
How to put yourself out there
I want to give you some practical tips on how to increase and boost your confidence.
Tip #1 You’ve got to believe in what you are doing.
You will not repeatedly do what you do not believe you are.
You’ve got to believe in what you are doing and be connected to it.
If you struggle with self confidence or public speaking, most of the time it is a lack of belief.
The solution to that is you have to believe and know in your heart, in your gut, not just in your head, that you are what God says you are and that is enough. How well you do does not determine your worth in anyway.
You’ve got to believe it, you’ve got to own it. People can smell doubt, fear, and insecurity from a mile away.
Not arrogance, confidence, that comes from action and belief.
Tip #2 You’ve got to practice.
Confidence comes from action, messy action.
Practice it until it is a habit and it is on autopilot, where you don’t have to think about it and it is apart of you.
Practice, practice, practice, practice!
You have to practice and steward your craft if you want to be good at it.
Tip #3 Invest in yourself.
Invest more in yourself than you do in anything else. Here is what I mean by that...
What are you doing to increase your personal and spiritual growth, and your skill set level? Invest in things that make you feel good, or look good. When you look good you feel good and you perform better.
You’ve got to love yourself enough to invest in yourself.
What are you reading, what are you listening to, what programs are you apart of. If you are not willing to spend money on your personal growth and your skillset, you can guarantee you are going to be stuck in life.
If you want more confidence you have to understand it is a skill set. It’s a belief system, and you have got to get up in the morning and say, “I am a confident woman, my success is inevitable.”
Use the confidence mantra!
Tip #4 Body language
Posturing yourself for confidence, posturing yourself for success. It’s the presence that you carry.
Insecurity has a body language and so does confidence. When you feel good you look good, and when you are believing in what you are doing your body should respond to that.
If you need help with confidence get the Confidence Mantra!!
